I take immense pride as a Bhaaratiya and as a Hindu - I have complete faith that the Sanatani value system can truly guide us towards inner peace which forms the nucleus of all my actions. I like to think of myself as a Thought Provoker and an Inquisitive Traveler committed to my nation’s tryst with destiny - to realize the dreams of Arya Chanakya, Swami Vivekananda, Veer Savarkar, Shivaji Maharaj, APJ Abdul Kalam and many more. My Faith: No cause is lost if there is 1 mad guy left to fight for it! My Motto: God give me courage to change what I can, the strength to accept what I can’t and the wisdom to know the difference! My Principle: Ask not what the nation does for you, ask what you can do for your nation! My Driving Force: Karen Raven's quote, "Only as high as I reach can I grow, only as far as I seek can I go, only as deep as I look can I see, only much as I dream can I be" My Goal: To make myself a better person today, than what I was yesterday!

Hapless Sheep or Bold Tigers?

Being back home has its own merits. One of the few demerits includes tolerating those family dramas on TV while having lunch/dinner - be it Hindi or Marathi. For a change though I am glad I was in front of the TV watching these serials today as the Marathi serial 'Lajja' gave me a topic for the blog. It is indeed difficult what is required of us in today's times but none the less, fighting against injustice has an immense satisfaction hidden deep within if the individual decides to persevere till then. Take this following example of 'Lajja' and the disappointment in its portrayal.

There is this girl Manu who is caught in the porn movie market after being betrayed by a fellow named Mangesh who she thought was her friend. She was all up for fighting against such criminals like Mangesh when it was one of her lady friends who was tricked into the market prior to her; and now she is refusing to fight just because it is her in those porn videos this time round. The girl obviously is in a state of shock. Till this moment it is fine and I agree it will take time to get things back to normal. The last 2 episodes have intrigued me. In the former one, there is this scene when Manu is in the police station where the police have apprehended Mangesh and this girl just runs away without presenting testimony. In the latter one, which was telecast today, it is shown that the girl's uncle is consoling her; and how does he do that? Translating him - "Manu, we are simple, common middle class people. Police and all such matters are not which we can handle. Forget all that has happened and go for a new life." This is the damn corruption I mentioned in my earlier blog Corrupting Corruption.

Does anyone have the bloody guts to tell her to support the police and teach a lesson to such criminals who have damaged her life and many more before her and more to follow if they are not stopped? What a fantastic message is being portrayed!! Wow!! Lay down your arms and invite your enemies to harass you! No matter what happens, we as a society will keep consoling ourselves and those around us to tread the 'Safe' and 'Risk free' route and turn our backs at trouble. Throughout life we would run away from our problems presenting one excuse after the other. We will accept all the injustice thrown at us and vent out the frustration on our dear ones and proceed. What a pathetic "normal" life! This is the social conditioning we are put through day in and day out. We are made to believe that we are helpless; we are made to believe that we are weak; we are made to believe that we are cowards and then that is exactly what happens! We go on to become cowards and yellow bellies! Friends, we still have a choice. As humans blessed with the power of discretion we can decide against this social conditioning. I would also like to add that it is also not the case that the police in the above mentioned serial are harassing the girl. The inspector has already asked the girl for her genuine support with a promise that he will fight this war and get the criminals to pay for their crimes.

A story which I heard long back will put the entire tale in better perspective. There was this tiger cub who was separated from his mother at the tender age of 1 month. He grew up with a pack of wild deers and ended up like them. He used to eat grass, run away from carnivores etc. It so happened that one day a tiger pack attacked these deers with whom our tiger cub had grown up. This pack found our friend in their midst and took him to a nearby river and showed him his reflection. They instructed him of the truth of his being and called upon him to shed the life of a deer and roar back as the tiger he is supposed to be. Swami Vivekananda in one of his many speeches calls upon the youth to realize that they are the tiger cubs and not a pack of sheep and to behave as the former!

A person is, who he believes he is. It is the sheer power of belief in the self and faith on the almighty which has led to many failures to become great success epitaphs! It is ironic that such factions of the media are fighting against the nation. They have corrupted their souls and are corrupting those around them.

"When people do not respect us, we are sharply offended; yet few men much respect themselves."
Mark Twain

If this is the attitude which we are going to develop and nourish, then maybe we as the society deserve to be trampled upon and tricked and fooled by the all powerful. My dear friends, who are we? Are we such cowards to run away? Are we those fools who do not understand the truth or even after knowing it are finding an escape route just like Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra?

"If I be not for myself, who then will be for me? If for self alone I try, then what am I?"

I am disgusted by the social conditioning methods such organisations are adopting for their selfish motives without giving two hoots to what its repercussions are and how much can they damage Hindustaan. I and along with me, my numerous known and unknown allies who breathe for Hindustaan, Live for Hindustaan, work for Hindustaan and Love Hindustaan reject these dastardly serials. The charge is being laid and the social and intellectual revolution is not far away which will sweep the crooks off their feet and paint Hindustaan in its true colours. It is high time to shrug away this cloak, this escape option of social conditioning and present the nerves of steel and an unbreakable resolve.

It is time to choose, we can accept this social conditioning as an integral part of our life and condemn ourselves to a life without freedom or deny it and gun for freedom. It is time to choose, whether be hapless sheep and crib throughout life about being pushed around or be the bold Tigers and claim the destiny which rightfully must be Hindustaan's....

Till then...
To all the enemies of Hindustaan....beware....your days are numbered.

To all the friends of Hindustaan....
Keep Fighting....
Live Free....

Jai Hind!
