I take immense pride as a Bhaaratiya and as a Hindu - I have complete faith that the Sanatani value system can truly guide us towards inner peace which forms the nucleus of all my actions. I like to think of myself as a Thought Provoker and an Inquisitive Traveler committed to my nation’s tryst with destiny - to realize the dreams of Arya Chanakya, Swami Vivekananda, Veer Savarkar, Shivaji Maharaj, APJ Abdul Kalam and many more. My Faith: No cause is lost if there is 1 mad guy left to fight for it! My Motto: God give me courage to change what I can, the strength to accept what I can’t and the wisdom to know the difference! My Principle: Ask not what the nation does for you, ask what you can do for your nation! My Driving Force: Karen Raven's quote, "Only as high as I reach can I grow, only as far as I seek can I go, only as deep as I look can I see, only much as I dream can I be" My Goal: To make myself a better person today, than what I was yesterday!

Of Truth and Terror ....

I remember those days when I was "the angry young man" - picking fights on roads with errant drivers and pedestrians alike with immense satisfaction. I enjoy it still but a lot has toned down. Every time I get behind the wheel, I remind myself of my father's golden rule of driving - "I am always wrong. All others are always right". When I drive, I call it the 'Dravid' mode and it has helped me calm down a lot especially in the "wonderful" city of Pune where one invites immense audiovisual hostility if one unfortunately chooses to halt at a red signal. What it has done is to increase my perseverance and patience as well on the road and off it. This simple rule of my father's has put my entire existence into perspective that Truth alone is not sufficient to triumph - me being right and abiding by the rules is irrelevant when it comes to the road - that is my truth and I have a choice to stick by it or let it go; it is hardly something which will be valued in times of an accident. One of the greatest discoveries of mine in this spiritual quest called life is my firm belief that Truth is one of the most weakest forces ever on a standalone basis. Truth derives its strength from time. Truth has only tenacity and perseverance to count among it's allies. Everything else withers out with time but Truth grows stronger if persisted with and in the right direction. At the same time, strength commands weight - strength takes the shape of power with this weight; as Mohan-ji spoke, over this past Sunday at the 1.58 lac Swayamsevak Strong Shivashakti Sangam 2016, "Who speaks the truth is more important than the truth itself." A powerful nation can direct global affairs; a powerful truthful nation can lead the globe to peace and prosperity. Pathankot, as another episode, I see in the same light.

A few questions:

Is it possible that defense and economics was crippled to a staggering extent by the I(A)NC regime to the point that India could not have fought a sustained bi-frontal war for more than 20 days?

Is it possible that infiltration attempts are actually increasing but 'successful' ones are actually on the decline with increasing number of terrorists gunned down at the border?

Is it possible that many threats to security are being neutralized without citizen knowledge? (Ref 1)

Is it possible that for a nation, which has so many enemies within across the nexus of politics-NGOs-foreign funds and foundations-educational institutes-corporations-religious organizations-terrorist sympathizers, to be handicapped to a certain degree in dealing with terrorism as compared to most others?

Is it possible that there is "some difference" between a pre-emptive Israel (complete with its no-nonsense policy towards militant Islam, robust nationalistic sentiment across the Jewish mass and political unity and intent when it comes to protecting Jewish interests in Israel and away) and a "secular India"? (fractured by anti-national elements clinging onto the lust of power to scuttle their own PM's massive attempts to revitalize the national growth story, bogged by the cry of 'fiberals' who care more about the freedom to watch porn and eat meat rather than national affairs and a civilian manipulation which sees a travesty of justice when a convicted felon makes more sense and returns with maximum gains in a dense northern province)

Is it possible for a security response to be effective when #Presstitutes like NDTV cover live, report live and continue feeding information to terrorists on troop movements?

Is it possible that Ajit Doval actually understands strategy more that what is "apparent" to a two-bit suited news anchor in an AC newsroom paid to the brim and beyond by anti-national money?

Is it possible that blowing up an entire air base spread across 25 kms is not actually the wise option to hunt down two terrorists?

Is it possible that timely intel did indeed limit damage, safeguard military assets and reduce casualties?

Is it possible that security, intelligence ops and covert warfare are not actually "Bollywood" movies or "live cricket matches" to be telecast on media but serious national activity which more often that not deserve and receive the greatest of silence in the greatest of victories?

Is it possible for a Pathankot or a Mumbai or a Delhi be prevented cent percent when the perpetrators are some Ahmeds, Javeds, Shakeels or Muhammads of India - not from Pakistan - many a times so?

Is it possible to openly engage Pakistan in an overt war without facing domestic backlash from the same men who participate in Azad Maidan riots, march in Yakub Menon's funeral, cheer for the Owaisis and travel to Pakistan to seek and assist help in destabilizing the Modi Government?

Is it possible that we are 'missing' something very primal in all this?

The plus point of being a Swayamsevak of the Sangha and a Karyakarta of the BJP is that a lot of information flows which is worth sharing, which we do too. Many a times, our 'fiberal' friends ignore, like minded people bond and the movement of Jagat Guru Bhaarat grows.

"No matter how many goals you save, people remember the one you missed" is a quote apt for Ajit Doval and Modi today. In context with how I started the blog, Bhaarat is Truth; but that is irrelevant. Like Truth, Bhaarat is weak on its own. Bhaarat's strength and power has always been about time. Even with a non-expansionist culture, a non-aggressive culture and an all-assimmilative, all respecting culture, Bhaarat persevered across five to seven different invasions. Like Truth, Bhaarat has been repeatedly betrayed by what it called its own. Like Truth, Bhaarat has been ridiculed, mocked and trampled upon and like Truth, Bhaarat has been time and again, under-estimated.

The point in this exercise of Truth parallels is to ponder on the possibility that as civilians we are not privy to huge amounts of information. History hardly ever recollects and notes down those who prevented problems; those who solved them have always taken the cream and hence maybe the craze to create problems in the first place.

It is far easier to make retrospective comments or boast on self-fulfilling prophecies or roar like paper-tigers in a "Saamna" of sorts, far difficult to discharge a good deed when no soul is watching. Thanks to my subscription to good thoughts, wise men and related experts, I have been blessed with the awareness of the extent of damage that this Government has prevented till date; a miss here and there will not shake my faith in these patriots nor like an angry young man will I shout for a 'War(Overt) with Pakistan' as I might have a few years ago. Nations like Israel have won their wars on terrorism because they could first fix their enemies within, if there were any; all that at a great cost. Terrorism will need a multi-pronged approach and the hot and cold diplomacy of Narendra Modi is the right way forward till the point that India is rid of her enemies, her greatest enemies - the one sitting pretty in her home.

Back when Modi rode to power, Kashmir was the disputed territory; more than a year and a half under his leadership - Baluchistan, Waziristan and Pakistan occupied Jammu-Kashmir are the "disputed territories". Our army is regularly gunning down terrorists and striking camps. Dawood is being squeezed financially and geographically while noted terrorists and criminals are being caught at home and abroad.

Truth has to go through fire and brimstone; brave the churning seas and sustain all kinds of injuries before it validates itself - that is the law of nature. These costs - of our brave soldiers, of our collective agony is a must in this war. Pakistan can only be defeated covertly. To apply the diplomatic choke by raising Bhaarat's global standing, continue repelling and killing their terrorists at every possible juncture, executing precision intelligence strikes towards a geographic Balkanization and all the time continuing the tea chats with its heads - for a change, there is a PM who has checked all these checkboxes when it comes to handling Pakistan and like Truth, it is all about time now. It is all about trusting the footprints that are.

In context, Modi is a weak man dealing with very powerful enemies. He is like the proverbial Truth. All he can do is to make the right moves and persevere with a singular hope that he is also the proverbial 'Destiny's Child'. Long after he is gone when we write our history, it will be more intriguing to observe not whether he is known as a Leader who stood by Maa Bhaarti but whether we as her children, stood by him.

Jai Hind!

Very deep and thought provoking and also informative to an extent......A quick few points:
1)U r absolutely right that Pakistan could be defeated only covertly and its also gud that these steps are not declared(otherwise that wont be covert).U must be knowing these steps as a karyakarta or sevak which we might not be knowing. But we must accept the fact that pak policy on its face atleast is of flip flops for the non karyakarta or sevak.
PS: my personal opinion is Modi is a victim of his own rhetoric against Pak.

2)I share ur point that the biggest difference between Israel & India is that we have a lot of anti national elements. We must tackle them at all cost. But trying to tackle them we must be able to distinguish between actual criticism by patriots who want improvement and traitors who criticise for their own selfish intentions. Nowadays it has become a trend that if u criticise govt u r branded anti national(or go to Pak).In this stupid rhetoric actual difference is lost and the perception is created against Modi & govt. This has to be checked by Modi & this will be his biggest test.

3) I beleive Modi is definitely the most powerful and cunning politician who is for the first time a match to anti national elements. Hope to see him tackle that!!!

PS: Also look forward to ur such blogs!!
